Care for Your Battery
New batteries achieve full performance only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. This "conditioning" of the battery is accomplished by using the phone until it turns itself off, or by using a battery discharging station and then fully charging the battery. Please see your owner's manual as the number of repetitions may vary by model and manufacturer.

Do not leave the battery connected to a charger for more than 24 hours. Overcharging may shorten a battery's life.

When your phone is left off, a fully charged battery will normally discharge itself within several weeks.

Temperature extremes reduce the capacity and life expectancy of batteries.

Do not dispose of a battery in a fire or expose it to extreme heat.

Care for Your Phone
Keep your wireless phone dry. Precipitation, humidity and liquids contain minerals that corrode electronic circuits and can render the phone inoperable.

Do not store the phone in hot areas. High temperatures can damage the battery, and warp or melt plastic parts.

Do not store the phone in cold areas. When the phone warms up to normal temperature, moisture may form inside the phone, which can damage electronic circuit boards.

Rough handling can break internal circuit boards.

Do not attempt to open the phone. If it is not operating properly, please contact Customer Care at (800) 549-4000 or dial 611 free from your wireless phone.
